Research Park Company Lands Funding
NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Energy Management Solutions announced Tuesday, (Sept. 21) that it has secured financial backing from a group of private investors to complete development of its proprietary energy data management software and to launch its energy monitoring services.
“We are very pleased that we have been able to find qualified investors who also see the value of our products and services,” said Hershel (Ed) Fancher, president and CEO of Energy Management Solutions. “The terms of this support will provide us with the opportunity to complete our software platform and expand operations beginning in the fourth quarter of 2010.”
Energy Management Solutions, located in the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana, is an energy monitoring and management company that provides its clients with a single point of purchase for their energy monitoring needs. The company’s Internet-based data management and reporting software provides advanced tools for analysis, alerts, and refrigeration monitoring. Its services include specification of energy and performance monitoring equipment, equipment installation, data management, customized reporting solutions, and assistance with data analysis.
Energy Management Solutions’ unique approach to data management and reporting provides clients with three levels of access (energy manager, facility manager, and technician) to their data via straightforward web-based interfaces.
“Our ability to monitor and measure all forms of resources, from electricity to natural gas to water, will provide commercial and industrial users with the ability to see how and where their utility dollars are being spent,” said Fancher. “Measuring energy is the first step to conserving energy, and conservation is by far the most economical approach for reducing energy expenses.”
