Energy Management Solutions Relocates to Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana
NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Energy Management Solutions, an energy service company, has moved its offices and data server to the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana, officials announced Wednesday (April 28).
The relocation will provide the company with the technical resources and expansion space needed to grow its presence as a provider of energy management/monitoring services in the Midwest. One of the most immediate benefits of the relocation will be connection of the energy data sever to a secure fiber-optic connection located within the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana.
“Being a member of the Purdue Research Park network provides not only access to some of the best technical resources in the region, but also access to critical business development support services,” said Hershel “Ed” Fancher, Energy Management Solutions chief executive officer. “This move will provide us with a variety of benefits and assistance that cannot be found at an ordinary business park.”
During the next few months, the company will roll out two new reporting products. The first product is geared toward highly analytical applications, which will provide detailed energy consumption information so large corporations can set standards (construction, purchasing, operating or behavioral) based on an evaluation of test sites. The second product will be a more user-friendly version geared toward monitoring energy usage and equipment status on commercial appliances such as walk-in freezers.
Energy Management Solutions provides a consolidated point of service for energy monitoring needs. The company’s approach to data management and reporting combines the data retrieval speed and power of a server-based data warehouse with the flexibility of a PC-based reporting engine. Energy Management Solutions’ personnel can assist with the specification of energy and performance monitoring equipment, coordinate installation, provide data management/storage, and develop customized reporting solutions.
